William Harley Dimick, 95, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away surrounded by his wife of 71 years, Bonnie, and loving family. He was born in Aurora to Wiley Elven and May Augusta (Yoder) Dimick.

He served in United States Army Air Force Medical Unit during World War II. He served in Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, and England.

Bill lived in Oregon his entire life. He had a logging career working with Duncan and Moore Logging and Rice Logging.

He enjoyed watching the news and sports. His favorite teams were the Seahawks, Mariners, and Trailblazers. He loved sports and betting quarters wiht his kids.

Bill enjoyed his grandchildren, visiting and listening to what they had been up to. Playing checkers with his granddaughter, Amber. (I think he let her win most of the time.) He also loved our big, family get-togethers for all occasions and seeing the little ones running around the house.

William is survived by his wife, Bonnie, of Sweet Home; sons Lester (Diane), Randy, and Jack Dimick of Sweet Home; son Rick (Tammy) Dimick of Jefferson and Mark Dimick of Corvallis; daughers Linda Dimick of Montana, Shirley Austin of Brownsville, Jani (Bob) Tydings of New York, Eileen (Dennis) Olson of California, Jan (Rick) Holder of Sweet Home, Julie Lafayette of Gervais, Tammy (Jonathen) Lorenzen of Eugene; brothers Shorty and Dick of Sweet Home; sister-in-law Emmy of Sweet Home; 25 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by son Harley (Danny); parents Wiley Elven and May Augusta Dimick; brothers George, Chauncy, Rex (Scotty), and Harry; sisters Dorothy, Betty, and Mary.
