William F. Coffey, 90, of Sweet Home, Oregon and long-time resident of Roseburg passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014. He was born in Tillamook to Arthur L. and Nydia Muriel (Barker) Coffey.

He resided in the Pacific Northwest throughout his lifetime; in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and California. In these states, he lived anywhere from the coast to inland depending on where the current construction jobs were. He was a general superintendent for Washington Construction.

William was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a lifetime member of the AGC (Associated General Contractors) and the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 701. He enjoyed gardening, traveling, hunting, fishing, boating, clam digging, and crabbing. He loved photography, music, being with his friends and family, and smoking salmon for them.

He is survived by: his wife of 46 years, Rosalie Coffey, of Sweet Home; son, Timothy A.Hurn, of Bundaberg, Australia; daughter, Cindy L. Rice, of Sweet Home; and seven grandchildren.

William was preceded in death by his brothers, Arthur and Lloyd, and his sister, Lucille.
