Wayne Stockdale, 80, of Veneta, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2026. He was born March 25, 1946 to Nellie Lee (Hinderman) and George Stockdale in Sandpoint, Idaho.
 
He loved fishing, hunting & traveling. He worked in the lumber industry until 1995, then become a RV technician and retired in 2019.
 
Wayne is survived by his Children: Walt (Maria) Stockdale, Donna Hodges, Roy Israel, Daughter in law, Wilma Barton; Grandchildren: Justin Hodges, Reece (Abbie) Hodges, Evan Lartsev, Nathan (Josie) Barton, Kristopher Barton, Jason Barton, Kaleb Israel & Trystan Fisher; Great Grandchildren: Kaleb, Joel, Alea, Milo, Christina; Niece Sondra Fiet, Half sister, Jane Sebold. and very special friends, Jeff, Gaylon and Verna Paynter. He was preceded in death by his Wife Frances (Wodtli) Stockdale, his Son, Kim Barton and Sisters: Georgia Harbough, Bernice Fisher, Lois Stockdale.

A memorial service will be 1 pm, Monday, November 9th at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. A private burial took place at Gilliland Cemetery. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements. www.sweethomefuneral.com.
