She married Harold G. Urban on June 11, 1955. She was honored by the newly founded Sweet Home Optimist Club for her excellent service each Thursday at the Chateau Restaurant.

Virginia worked form the time she was 15 years old as a waitress taking time off to raise her family. She began working again when she lost her husband Harold in 1978.

She liked flowers and country music. She especially enjoyed her recent trip to see Marty Stuart in concert, as well as having her picture taken with him. She loved spending time with her family.
