Celebrating 75 years together, a service for Vernon and Mildred Geil, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Sweet Home Mennonite Church; 1266 44th Avenue, Sweet Home, Oregon 97386.
Vernon Blair Geil, 93, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013. He was born in Prineville to Joseph A. and Lilly (Rowell) Geil.
He was survived by: children, Joe and Joyce Geil, Joy and Fred Honeywell, Michael and Grace Geil, Starla and Paul Walker, Martha and Steve Morrill, and Mary Swope; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred (Pappin) Geil, and son-in-law, Rev. Bob R. Swope. Memorial contributions can be made in their names to the Sweet Home Mennonite Church, Sweet Home Assembly of God, or Talking Book and Braille Services of Oregon.
