Valerie Ann Ford Billy, 55, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Monday, October 6. She was born in Tucson, Arizona to William Herman and Dorothy Lee (Harrison) Ford.

Valerie came to Oregon in1970 to begin farming in the West Stayton area with her family. She lived most of her adult life in Seattle, Washington and Yuma, Arizona before moving to Sweet Home in 2002.

Valerie is survived by: sisters Linda Cooper, Judy Swanson, Nancy Ford, Carol Ford, Mary Wreyford, and Bonnie Fisher of Sweet Home; brothers Robert Ford, Steven Ford, and Ron Ford of Sweet Home; many nieces, nephews and friends. Her best friends were her brother, Steve, niece, Alelishia Phillips, and nephew, William Phillips, of Sweet Home.

She was preceded in death by: her daughter, Blondra Kay Ford (1975); and her father and mother, William Ford (1979) and Dorothy Ford (1997) of Yuma, Arizona.

Valerie will be deeply missed.
