“Uncle” John Jack Victor, age 77, a long-time resident of Livingston, California, and more recently a resident of Sweet Home, Oregon, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2007. He was born to Manuel and Mary Marie (Silva) Victor in Atwater, California.

John enjoyed a full life with his family. He worked on his own dairy farm and raised sweet potatoes and almonds in the Livingston area. He retired to the town of Sweet Home, which he came to love and think of as home in his last years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Wanda J. Victor, and by four loving children: Betty Etchison, George Victor, Patsy Maurer, and Tommy Victor; 18 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, more adopted children, grandchildren, and more friends than could possibly be mentioned. He will be truly missed.
