Thelma Rae Heth, 69, of Sweet Home, Oregon died Wednesday, February 13, 2019. She was born in Redding, California to Louis and Daisy (Dennison) Caviness.

She grew up in Western Colorado in Nucla and Grand Junction. She married Randy in 1986. They moved to Sweet Home when he retired in 2013. Health issues set in shortly upon her arrival in Sweet Home. She lost her battle February 13, 2019.

Thelma worked at Burning Mountain Truck Center in New Castle Colorado as a secretary and bookkeeper.

She enjoyed camping and traveling by jeeps and ATV’s inthe Western Colorado back country with her family. She loved the campfire times with her grandkids. She experienced many of the 14,000 ft. passes in the High country with her family.

Thelma is survived by her husband of 32 years, Randy, of Sweet Home; daughter Miranda “Mandy” Heth of Grand Junction, Colorado; sons Larry Mills of Fruita, Colorado and Aaron MIlls of Albany; mother Daisy Caviness Mestler of Grand Junction, Colorado; sisters Louise Johnston and Teddi Coe of Grand Junction, Colorado, and Patricia Urch of Arizona; brothers Lee Bowerman of Grand Junction, Colorado, Russell Caviness of Hardin, Kentucky, and Terry Caviness of Sun City, Arizona; and grandchildren Sheldon Mills, Ashlee MIlls, Peyton Kurteneach, Sierra Esquibel, Austin Huffman, Dustin Huffman, McKenzie Huffman, and Athena Nixon.

She was preceded in death by her father, Louie Caviness, and brothers, William Caviness and Danny Caviness.
