Terry Guy Lovely, 71, of Sweet Home passed away Saturday. He was born in Sweet Home to Harlin Guy Lovely and Leida Mary (Williams) Dewey.

He was born and raised in Sweet Home with his final years spent in the log cabin he built.

Terry worked at Linn County Road Department until he had to take an early disability retirement due to Multiple Sclerosis.

He enjoyed hunting, woodwork, racing cars, 4-wheeling, and building his cabin in the woods.

Terry is survived by his wife Jan Albert; children: Michelle and her husband Robert Payne, Duston and his wife Lori Lovely; siblings: Pam and her husband Bill Hawkins, Tony and his wife Tamara Lovely; step-mother Donna Lovely; step-children: Michelle Hicks, Tracy Stinson; grandchildren: Haley Payne, Mikayla Payne, Dylon Lovely, Brooklyn Lovely, Lexie Stinson and Lindsey Stinson.

He was preceded in death by his mother Leida Dewey and father Harlin Lovely.

Memorial service will be 1:00 pm, Thursday, November 17th at the Sweet Home Elks Club.
