Terry Allen Walczyk, 67, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Friday, June 26, 2020. He was born January 13, 1953 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Emil and Donna (Greenburg) Walczyk.

He grew up in Seal Beach, California. He graduated from Marina High School in Huntington Beach, California. He loved wrestling and won many medals in high school. He also enjoyed surfing, bowling, and shooting pool. He received his carpenters degree after high school.

He met Debbe Gruwell and they were married April 14, 1979. They had three beautiful daughters; Jennifer, Kristen, and Melissa.

He moved his family to Sweet Home in 1988. He worked for Greg’s Heating and Air Conditioning. He later worked for Hynix as a manufacturing technician before retiring.

Terry was a board member for Habitat For Humanity, helping to build homes in Sweet Home. He loved coaching all his daughters in softball over the years. He was a member of Holley Church and loved volunteering there.

Terry’s favorite hobbies included fishing and camping with family, barbecuing, cooking, and baking, especially cheesecakes. He loved playing the yard game, Cornhole. His newest hobby was going to be building and selling Cornhole games for family and friends.

He loved his family deeply. He never once missed any sports events of any of his kids or grandchildren. He always put his family first in everything he did. He was such a wonderful, caring, fun and loving husband, Dad, and Papa. He was loved by all and will be missed.

Terry is survived by his wife, Debbe; three daughters: Jennifer, Kristin, and Melissa Walczyk; dad, Emil Walczyk; six siblings; a close friend whom he thought of as a fourth daughter, Melissa Berard; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mom, Donna Greenburg, and sister, Patti.
