Sandra Kay Smith, 64, of Sweet Home, passed away in Lebanon, Thursday, August 14, 2025. She was born September 30, 1960 to Lonita (Butenschoen) and Leon Weathers in Lebanon, Oregon.

She has lived in Chelan, Washington, Portland, Sweet Home and Lebanon. She was a non-denominational Seventh-day Adventist. Sandra taught Vacation Bible School and home schooled her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Sandra enjoyed making cards, reading and most of all loved spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her mother Lonita Weathers; children Steven Epperson of Scio, Reta Holder of Salem, Jay Epperson of Montana, Kimberly Simmons of Junction City, Carrie Winder of LaPine; sisters: Shirley Manning, Anita Weathers, brother Steve Weathers all from Lebanon; 18 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Smith (2014) and her dad Leon Weathers (2012).

A viewing will be 3-5 pm, Thursday, August 21st at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will be 11 am Friday, August 22nd at Gilliland Cemetery. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements. www.sweethomefuneral.com.
