Ruby Mae Crocker, age 80, of Sweet Home passed away Tuesday. She was born in Heartwell, Nebraska to Clarence and Edna (Churchill) Mitchell.

She moved from Nebraska to Missouri and eventually settled in California. She came to Sweet Home in 1984.

Ruby was a member of Sweet Home Evangelical Church. She liked to take drives and do things with her family. During her youth, she enjoyed dancing, pool, and shuffleboard. Ruby loved her family and the companionship of others.

She is survived by her life companion of 15 years, Ron Robertson; son, Tom Montgomery; daughter, Conni Montgomery; grandchildren, Connie Ann Montgomery, John Edward Montgomery, and Priscilla Mae Lafferty; and great granddaughter, Baily Lafferty.

Ruby was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

Memorial contributions can be made in her name to Evergreen Hospice for the Sweet Home area.
