Ricky “Rick” Raymond McKay, 61, of Sweet Home passed away Monday. He was born in Sweet Home to Raymond and Joyce (Rowe) McKay.

He lived in Sweet Home his entire life. He was a second generation logger.

Rick always took care of people. He loved his dogs.

He enjoyed buying older equipment to fix up and get it running again. Logging was his hobby and his career. He loved music, old muscle cars, concerts and family events.

Rick is survived by is wife Terie Slater-McKay; children: Sarah Campbell, Richard McKay; siblings: Renae Dreher, Susie Lapp, Beverly Rowton, Craig McKay; six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father Raymond McKay; and mother Joyce McKay.

Celebration of Life will be 2:30 pm Sunday November 13th at Sweet Home VFW.
