Richard Otis Kirk, 73, of Sweet Home, passed away Monday, March 9, 2026. He was born November 25, 1952 to Ena Winown (King) and John Edward Kirk in Myrtle Point, Oregon.

He lived in the coastal areas of Bandon, Sitkum and in Sweet Home. Richard worked as a cabinet maker, farmer, and was a volunteer firefighter.

He enjoyed reading, liked writing, doing art and loved to listen to music.

Richard is survived by his daughters: Mae Kirk (Tim Counts) and Emma Kirk (Joel), two grandchildren and his brother, John David Kirk. He was preceded in death by his wife Linda Kirk (2025).
