Richard David Holcomb, Sr., 79, of Sweet Home passed away Wednesday. He was born in Lebanon to Roy F. and Margaret (Mealey) Holcomb.

He served in the United States Army from 1967 – 1969.

Richard was a logger and really proud of his time balloon logging.

He enjoyed classic car collecting. He loved his 1933 Plymouth.

Richard is survived by his longtime girlfriend Dorothy Erickson; son Richard Holcomb Jr.; siblings: Roy, Jane Anne, Marc, Kathleen, Monte; and granddaughter Lilyan Holcomb.

Graveside service with Military Honors will be 1:00 pm, Friday August 26th, at Gilliland Cemetery.
