Reese McAlpine Bush, 85, of Lebanon, Oregon passed away Monday, November 4, 2013. He was born in Binghamton, New York to Reese and Robertine (Carl) Bush.

Reese served in the United States Army and was discharged March 7, 1949. He received the WWII Victory Medal and the Occupation Medal of Japan.

He grew up in Green, NY moving to California after his military service. He then married Leah Nutter Bush, and they lived in California until 1990. Reese retired in Lebanon in 1992 after traveling the country for two years.

Reese was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He worked and retired from the post office. He was also a member of Northwest Steelheaders.

He enjoyed fishing and ham radio.

Reese is survived by: his son, William Bush; daughter-in-law, Melinda Bush; daughters, Nadine Cooper and Tina Moreno; sister, Deloris Harp; twelve grandchildren; and twenty great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Leah Bush, and daughter, Gail Bush.
