Reba Jean Gridley, 71, of Sweet Home peacefully passed away at her home. She was born in Sweet Home to Lonnis John and Peggy Norine (Sorrell) Rowe.

She lived in Sweet Home all her life. After high school, she became a mother. She went on to become a CNA and was a caregiver for many elderly people. She attended Trend College to become a secretary. Later she worked at a family restaurant named the Spring. Her husband called her “The Lady of the Spring.” She was a Christian.

Reba enjoyed reading romance novels, painting, gardening, cooking and puzzle books. She loved time with her children and grandchildren, watching Hallmark, Food Network and HGTV.

She is survived by her children: John Gilbert and Tonya Golden; brothers: James Rowe and Michael Todd Rowe; grandchildren: Mary Riley, Terry McCleary, Rosie Golden, Levi Golden, Jebediah Golden, Chloeeann Golden; great grandchildren: Brylee McCleary, James Gilbert – Jones, Baby Emma and Stella Golden.

Reba was preceded in death by her husband, Rick Gridley; the father of her children, Ron Gilbert; grandchildren: TJ Golden, Chance Golden, Anita Dugger; mother and father; sister Patricia Roebuck.
