Paulette Marie Hartsook, 71, of Albany, Oegon, formerly of Sweet Home, passed away Saturday, July 18. She was born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio to Robert William and Helen (Bivington) Moxley.

She was raised and educated in Mt. Vernon. She came out to Oregon via Illinois and Washington. She worked for Sodexo for eight years. Paulette and her then husband, Daniel Hartsook, had three children.

Paulette’s hobbies were scrapbooking, sewing, quilting, and gardening, and she enjoyed the beach and camping. She really loved her grandkids and taking them on nature walks, which included picking up special leaves, taking them home, and drying them for decoration around the home.

She is survived by: her children, Robin Brown of Albany, Brenda Hartsook, and Eric Cole of Georgia, and Brad Hartsook and his wife, Karyn, of Sweet Home; brother, Bob Moxley, of Ohio; grandchildren, Bailee, Ryken, Kellen, and Dylan Hartsook, Ryan Brown, Nicole and her husband, Brett VanLeeuwen, Drake and Cole Thomson, and Arrison and Somerlyn Cole.

Paulette was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of of Paulette’s ife will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Sunnyside Park.
