Owen Lawrence Stalford

Owen Lawrence Stalford, 83, of Sweet Home passed away July 29, 2023. He was born on April 17, 1940 to Frances (Kirby) and Lawrence Stalford in Oretown.

He grew up in Eddyville and attended Eddyville Schools. He was a timber faller for many years. Owen enjoyed fishing, crabbing, clamming, and hunting. He worked on boat motors and lawn mowers. He liked helping others whenever he could.

Owen is survived by sons; Patrick and Donald, daughter Carrie, brothers; Ernie, Mike, Kenny, Jimmy, Harry, sisters; Mary, Karen, Leta, and Janis. Preceded in death by his wife Gloria of 27 years, brothers; Lee (2014), Erle (2015), Billy (2017), daughter Christie and son David.
