Norman Darle Villines, 84, of Sweet Home, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025. He was born February 24, 1941 in Low Gap, Arkansas to Thomas and Alpha (Wishon) Villines.

Norman grew up in Low Gap, Arkansas and has lived in Sweet Home since 1959. He worked at Willamette Industries for 33 years.

Norman enjoyed many different activities including: bowling, riding horses, guns, gardening, fishing, hiking, camping and telling stories. He loved baseball and was a coach and an umpire. Norman was a Christian and attended a few different churches including River of Life.

Norman is survived by his wife, Zelma of Sweet Home; children: Kathy Ackerman, Gwenda Campbell, Douglas Villines, Victor Villines; eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Lex, Herman, Archie, Blanche, Eunice and Avanell Villines.
