Norma Louise Conception (Dodderer) peacefully passed away on September 3, 2026, in Keizer, Oregon.

Born on September 4, 1950, in Fresno, California, to Norman and Lizzie Katherine Dodderer, and lovingly nurtured by Allene Dodderer, Norma had a deep and abiding love for her family. She spent her early years in central California before moving to Oregon in 1973.

Throughout her life, Norma showcased a variety of talents, allowing her to thrive in numerous roles. Whether caregiving or working in customer service, she found joy in connecting with others.

Norma will always be remembered for her remarkable cooking skills; there was no dish she couldn’t perfect. Alongside cooking, she dedicated countless hours to her beloved hobbies of sewing, crocheting, and cross-stitching. Her talents were truly boundless, and she had a gift for storytelling that captivated everyone around her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Norman Dodderer, and her mothers, Lizzie and Allene Dodderer, all from Fresno, California.

Norma is survived by her children, Melissa Smith, Melinda Dove, Mica Smith, and Michele Bock, along with her siblings Mary Melton, Patsy Diaz, Carol Dotson, Kenneth Dodderer, and Keith Dodderer and their spouses. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, as well her beloved bonus children, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 11 AM at the American Legion Santiam Post 51, located at 480 S Main St, Lebanon, Oregon.
