Nola Greenwood, 99, of Salem, Oregon, formerly of Sweet Home, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021. She was born in Rantoul, Illinois to Louis and Eula (Sheppard) Yakel. She lived in Illinois, Nebraska, Indiana, Connecticut, Arizona, California, Japan, Okinawa, and Oregon.

Nola was a waitress and homemaker. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, sewing, canning, cooking, and quilting.

Nola is survived by: children Sharon Hill of Salem, Charles Greenwood of Long Beach, California, and Donna Greenwood of Salem; seven grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and four great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Greenwood, in 2001 and sister, Norma Rooney, in 2010.

Viewing will be at 12:00, noon, Thursday, January 14, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Services will follow at 1:00 p.ml, also at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
