The world lost its biggest English bulldog lover, John Cena his most avid fan and a family its matriarch on October 12th. Maureen Mero passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early dawn hours, just two days after her beloved bulldog Rufus, surrounded by her cherished Disney collection, decades in the making. Sharing her happy spirit, Maureen left an impression on all she met including garage sale patrons, fellow parishioners and passersby. She leaves behind fiancé Frank Gates, son John May, daughter-in-law Sandy Rothig, grandchildren Matthew and Caitlyn and 6 great grandchildren. Viewing will be 10 am – 1 pm Tuesday October 15th at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel 1443 Long Street, Sweet Home OR 97386.
