Mary Jean Smith, 91, of Sweet Home, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025.
She was born on November 24, 1933 to Margaret (Barney) and Albert S. Hamilton in Nevada City, California. She was raised by Margaret and Hawley “Pop” Chatfield.

Mary is survived by her husband and best friend Wesley T. Smith Sr., daughter Debra Roberts, sister Elizabeth Hamilton, brother Steve Hamilton, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two nieces, one nephew. She was preceded in death by her sister Patricia Phillips, children Leslie Patricia McCool, Wesley Thomas Smith Jr.
