Margaret Eager Case, 100, of Sweet Home passed away Saturday at Avamere Twin Oaks. She was born on a ranch in Tucumcari, New Mexico to John and Nancy (Hensley) Eager.

Margaret moved from Carlsbad, California to Portland, Oregon in 2000. Three years ago, Margaret moved to Sweet Home to be near her son, Bill Case, and his wife, Jill.

She enjoyed a long and fruitful life in her many roles of wife, mother, grandmother, court reporter, Klickitat County Clerk, pianist, and even tap dancer (the Spotliters in Carlsbad, CA). She was known for her selflessness, kindness, resourcefulness, and her ready, engaging smile.

She is survived by: her sons, Ralph and Bill; six grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.

Margaret passed peacefully. The family is very grateful for the loving care we all received from the staff at Twin Oaks Rehabilitation Center. Final burial will be in Eternal Hills in Oceanside, California.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
