Lorene Vern Baldinger, 90, of Lebanon passed away Thursday. She was born in Cushing, Oklahoma to Oliver and Tinney (Bittick) Coonrod.

She moved to Orosi, California as a child with her family. She came ot Portland, Oregon at age 18 with her first husband. She married Clayton Robert Baldinger in 1953, soon after they came to Sweet Home.

Lorene was a member of Church of God (Harvest Christian Center). She was a great homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, canning, sewing, and quilting. Lorene’s biggest pleasures came from the time she spent with her family.

She is survived by: her son, Dean Baldinger of Sweet Home; sister, Jessmon Ballinger of Sweet Home; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Lorene was preceded in death by: her husband, Clayton Robert Baldinger; son, Harvey Burton; brother, Ralph Coonrod; and sisters, Della Gaylor and Myrtle Bray.

A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m., to 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Harvest Christian Center in Sweet Home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
