Lois Joy Norris, 74, of Sweet Home passed away Friday at her home. She was born in Lakeview, Oregon to Myron “Bud” and Ethel (Walker) Burrows.

Lois lived in Sweet Home for the past 23 years. She volunteered with the Community Service Program affiliated with the Seventh Day Adventist Church for many years. She enjoyed quilting and donated the quilts to the Community Service Program for distribution.

She is survived by: her brothers, Mike (Sandy) Burrows and Donald “Butch” Burrows of Pendleton, and Robert (Mary) McLellan of New Hampshire; sisters, Lola Mae Burrows of Sweet Home and Nancy (Ken) Ward of Maine; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Lois was preceded by her husband, Jay Norris (1992), and brothers, Chester “Sonny”, Myron “Buddy”, and Mark Burrows.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, May 10, at Sweet Home Seventh Day Adventist Church. Final burial will be at Gilliland Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
