Leland Ray Lowe, 76, of Sweet Home, passed away Monday. He was born June 8, 1946, to Ivan and Susie (Walker) Lowe in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. His family moved to Noti, OR when he was eight years old, and two years later settled in Brownsville until he was 22.
Leland met and later married Clara Kathleen Presley. They had two children and recently celebrated 54 years together.
He loved the outdoors and music.
He is survived by his wife, Clara Lowe; daughter, Karri Stanart and her husband Matt; son, Jason Lowe and his wife Darlinda; brother, John Ed Lowe and his wife Fay of Florida, James Lowe and his wife Patricia of Washington; five grandchildren: Josh and Sarah Lowe of Portland, Kayla, Cody and Curtis Froman of Sweet Home.
