LaWanda Jean Cross, 86, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Wednesday, August 9. She was born in Wichita, Kansas to Walter and Anna (Snyder) Saulmon. She came to Sweet Home in 1947.

LaWanda enjoyed sewing. She also loved collecting dolls and salt and pepper shakers.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Cross, of Sweet Home; daughter Geraldine (Jerry) Hamlin of Vida; six grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

LaWanda is preceded in death by her son, Lawrence Cross.
