Kyong Suk Howard, 72, of Lebanon, Oregon passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021. She was born in Seoul, South Korea to Chun Sim Yu and Dae Sop Pak.

Kyong lived in many places throughout her life, especially while her husband was in the Air Force. She grew up in Seoul, South Korea. After she married Lawrence, they lived on many Air Force Bases in California and Germany. While in Germany, she ran an In-home Daycare. In 1991, they were stationed at their last base, Hill AFB and settled in Roy, Utah for many years. After 2011, their moves took them to Mesa, Arizona, Lebanon, Rockville, Maryland, Albany, Huntington Beach, California, and back to Lebanon in 2020.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She taught Primary and was a nursery worker at church. She always loved working with children.

Kyong loved spending time with family, especially her four grandchildren. They often followed her daughter and her family around the country.

Kyong is survived by her husband, Lawrence Howard of Lebanon; daughter, Louise and her husband Mark Fisher of Huntington Beach, California and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Souk Ho Pak.
