A Celebration of Life memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 2408 SE 16th Avenue, Portland, OR. The church will be recording and livestreaming the service for those unable to attend. Memorial contributions can be made in Kelsey’s name to Lebanon High School Girls Soccer Team and/or Lebanon High School Girls Tennis Team.

Kelsey Noelle Harris, 31, of the Sweet Home and Brownsville, Oregon area and a long-time resident of Milwaukie passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021. She was born in Portland to Lance F. and Kellee J. (Kneeland) Harris.

Kelsey grew up in Milwaukie and moved to Sweet Home to teach Physical Education at Sweet Home Junior High and coach JV Girls Soccer. She then moved to Lebanon High School, where she served as a school counselor and coached Varsity Girls Tennis, JV Girls Soccer, and Assistant Varsity Girls Soccer.

She loved and raised many animals, including a rough collie, several cats, and numerous chickens, which she raised for their eggs. Kelsey loved and missed her St. Bernard, Floyd, and a rescue, retired, Thoroughbred race horse named Foster.

Kelsey graduated from Linfield College with a B.A. in Health Education, and then a Master’s in Education from Concordia University. She received a scholarship to Bushnell University in Eugene pursuing her Master’s Degree in Counseling.

Kelsey is survived by her parents, Lance and Kellee Harris, of Milwaukie; sisters Kira and Kareena Harris of Portland; uncles Kreg Kneeland of Tucson, Arizona and Kirk Kneeland of Eugene; aunts Kim Kneeland of Eugene and Kolynn Hagman of Salem. Also, Greg Harris of Calgary, Alberta, Dana Zeghers of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Jay Harris of Beavercreek.
