Kelli Colleen Mathews, 43, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Monday, December 1. She was born in Portland to Perry Bryon and Georgia Kay (Butler) Crocker.

Kelli lived her entire life in Sweet Home. She attended Foster Elementary School, Sweet Home Christian School, and Sweet Home High School. Kelli married Troy Mathews on December 11, 2009. She enjoyed reading and loved to cook.

Kelli is survived by: her husband, Troy Mathews; son, Byron Dixon; parents, Perry and Kay Crocker; brothers, Larry Crocker of Utah and Warren “Mac” Crocker and wife Kerrie of Michigan; sister, Lena Schmitt and husband Dennis of Texas; grandparents, Fred and Dorothy Barker of Arkansas; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her beloved dogs, Belle and Bazley. She was preceded in death by: her grandparents, John and Myrtle Crocker; and grandfather, George Butler.

A memorial service will take place at 3:00 p.m., Friday, December 5, at River of Life Fellowship. Memorial contributions may be made in Kelli’s name to the American Diabetes Association.
