Joyce Marilyn White, 87, of Eugene went home to Jesus on January 7, 2023 at age 87.
Joyce was born to Arthur and Millie Lloyd (Elliott) on June 1, 1935 in Spokane, Washington. She married Darwin White at a young age and started her family in Sweet Home, Oregon, they later moved to Eugene, Oregon where Joyce spent the majority of her life.
Joyce joins her parents, Arthur and Millie, and several siblings, in Heaven. She is survived by her sister, Mary Boston, her children, Joe (Paula) White, Rick (Nancy) White, Bruce White, and Debbie (Tim) Cavaness, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Joyce was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Joyce was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

Joyce was passionate about gardening and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found taking care of her beautiful garden and flowers. She also loved crafts, crocheting, playing hymns on the organ by ear, cooking, baking and canning. Our family is grateful to know that Joyce is at peace.
She will be forever loved and forever remembered as well as her noted prayer Psalm 25. A simple graveside memorial will be arranged in the spring/summer at Gilliland in Sweet Home, Oregon. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements. www.sweethomefuneral.com
