Johnnie Lorene McFarland, 92, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Wednesday, October 22. She was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma to John C. and May (Tollett) Parker.

Lorene graduated from high school in Wright City, Oklahoma. She married J.C. McFarland on February 7, 1948. They moved to Sweet Home in1951 and resided in Sweet Home for 63 years. Lorene enjoyed gardening and making pies.

She is survived by: her husband of 66 years, J.C. McFarland; sons, Terry McFarland and his wife, Sonya, and Marty McFarland; granddaughter, Fallon Baxter; sister, Frances; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lorene was preceded in death by: her grandson, Cody McFarland; sisters, Hazel and Marylee; and her parents.

Viewing will be from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 26, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 27, at Harvest Christian Church in Sweet Home. Burial will follow at Gilliland Cemetery.
