Joe Scott Parkins, 47, of Sweet Home, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026. He was born on March 2, 1978 to Shirley A. Parrish and Joseph Patrick Parkins in Renton, Washington.

He has lived in Tacoma, Des Moines and Raymond Washington before moving to Sweet Home. Joe worked as a landscaper and enjoyed doing art.

He is survived by his daughter Lily, his mother Shirley Parrish of Tacoma, Washington, siblings Jessica Mercer of Marysville, Washington, William Parkins of Puyallup, Washington. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Patrick Parkins and sister Autumn Marie Mercer (2024).
