Jeromy Reed Moore, 41, of Sweet Home passed away Wednesday. He was born in Lebanon to Frank Reed and Tonya Verlee (Thill) Moore.

He grew up mostly in Sweet Home but he did live in Alaska for a bit while his father logged. His family moved back to Sweet Home when he was a teenager and he’s been here since.

Jeromy was a God-fearing mad who loved to read from his Bible everyday that he could. While he bounced around from church to church throughout his life, the last he attended was River of Life on Long Street in Sweet Home.

He loved fishing, hunting, catching up with old friends and hanging out with family. He was the first to call you on your birthday, and he always made sure you knew he was thinking of you. He loved playing cribbage, and dabbled in some music. He had an acoustic guitar he loved to play on here and now.

Jeromy is survived by his three children: Teira Jean Redick of Lebanon, Jace Alex Reed Moore of Crescent, Tonja Leigh Johanna Moore of River Rogue, Michigan; sister Anglena Kelly of Roseburg; brother Shawn Davis of Sweet Home; step-mom Linda Moore of Sweet Home; three grandchildren: Piper, Zeplyn and Emery all of Lebanon.

He was preceded in death by his niece Tayler Holley; grandfather John Moore; grandmother LeRetta (Jean) Moore; father Frank Moore; mother Tonya Hutson (Thill); and his uncle Ron Moore.

Jeromy will be incredibly missed by those who knew him. He was a kind man, someone who would do anything for those he loved. He had a huge heart. There will be a Celebration of Life in early October.
