James LeRoy Neal, 67, of Sweet Home passed away Wednesday morning surrounded by his loved ones, Gerrie Garber and Shannon.

James was an avid pool player. He loved rock hunting and gold panning. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and riding ATVs.

James is survived by: his companion, Gerrie Garber of Sweet Home; sisters, Marsha Hendricks of Sweet Home, Vickie Wing of Crawfordsville, Glenda Erickson of Lake Stevens, Washington, and Sharon Carr of LaPine; brother, Bobby Neal of Liberty; and sister-in-law, Sandy Neal of Woodburn. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Melvin Neal.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
