Iris Keenon, 68, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Wednesday, January 28. She was born in Olympia, Washington, daughter of Arthur Edward, Jr., and Elizabeth Mae (Patrick) Kelly.

Iris grew up in Oakridge and moved to Sweet Home when she was a sophomore at Sweet Home High School. She married Rodney Glen Keenon on April 19th, 1964 in Butte, Montana.

Iris worked as a waitress at Pineway Golf Course for 15 years and at Pioneer Villa for 5 years.

She enjoyed crocheting, reading, camping and fishing. In her younger years, she sang in a band. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed cooking for family and friends and her pets.

Iris is survived by: two sons, Kenneth (Sheila) and Kelly (Angie), both of Sweet Home; sister Truda Smith Crouse; brother and sisters-in-law Linda Keenon, Leonard and Cheryl Keenon, Diane Grant, Dick and Carilyn Berg, Duane and Sharon Keenon.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Rodney Glen Keenon; father- and mother-in-law Kenneth and Mildred Keenon; sisters Elizabeth Taylor and Anne Graham; brothers-in-law Rich and Larry Keenon.
