Inis R. Hill, 91, of Albany, Oregon passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016. She was born in Mountrose, Colorado to Jerry Colson and Lily Alvira (Durham) McIntosh.

Inis was a welder on ships during WWII in Bremerton, WA. It was after that she met and married Lester Hill.

She lived in Albany, Florence, Coos Bay, and Hauser. She eventually returned to Albany in 1996.

She loved her family and gardening was her passion.

Inis is survived by sons L. David Hill of Jefferson and Daniel C. Hill of Albany; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Hill; son Douglas L. Hill; and twelve siblings.

Celebration of Life will be at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, January 28, at her son Daniel’s home located at 812 Sunny Lane. in Albany. Those who knew her are welcome.
