George Edward Young, 93, of Sweet Home passed away Saturday. He was born in San Diego, California to James Henry and Claire Viola (Morton) Young.

He moved to Sweet Home in 2005. He loved reading, hiking, camping, and going for long drives.

George is survived by his wife, Sandra Stewart-Young, of Sweet Home and daughter, Sharon Gillam, of Sacramento.

No services are planned at this time.
