Floyd D. Williams, 81, of Sweet Home, passed away Friday, August 1, 2025. He was born March 4, 1944 to Grace (Merril) and Clarence Williams in Lebanon, Oregon.

Floyd attended grade school and high school in Sweet Home. He worked as a fuel truck driver for the US Government and drove a helicopter fuel truck during fire patrol. He worked several years a Lester’s Shingle Mill in Sweet Home.

He enjoyed collecting rocks, liked to fish, hunt, go hiking and enjoyed gardening.

Floyd is survived by his wife of 37 years Marilee Williams of Sweet Home; children: Dena Williams of Sweet Home, Denise McQuistion of Sweet Home, Dennis Williams of Lebanon; stepchildren: Brian Milligan of Hillsboro, Shannah Milligan of Albany, Angela Milligan of Portland; four grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his step son Terance Milligan (2015)

A celebration of life will be at 4 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 17, at Harvest Christian Center, 4231 Long Street, Sweet Home.
Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
