Evea Lucille Dixon, 86, passed away Friday. She was born in Kirksville, Missouri to Newton and Molly (Ellis) Stewart.

In 1942, she married Oather Dixon and moved to Oregon. She worked in the ship yards during the war as a welder. Later, they moved to Sweet Home and she started Snappy Service Restaurant.

She liked to oil paint, garden, fish, and travel.

Evea is survived by: her son, Larry, of Portland; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Oather Dixon; son, Richard; and step son, Ronald.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 11, at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Lebanon.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
