Dorothy Jean McCluskey, 86, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015. She was born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania to Lauren and Elizabeth (Booth) Oldham.

Dorothy was raised in Pennsylvania. She married Eugene McCluskey September 25, 1948, and they moved to Southern California shortly thereafter and raised four children together.

Dorothy retired and moved to Sweet Home in 1996.

She was an executive secretary for the Los Angeles County School District. She was an Elkette.

Dorothy loved to cook, dance, and paint. She worked crossword puzzles and enjoyed playing games and Pinochle and loved spending time with her family.

Dorothy is survived by daughter Diane and husband John Hayball and their three sons, Geoffrey, Justin, and Rodney; son Danny McCluskey and his three children, Melissa, Craig, and Michelle; son Gary McCluskey and wife Charlene and their three daughters, Jennifer, Sarah, and Amanda; daughter Valerie and husband Al Lemmon and their four children, Sean, Breanne, Kayla, and Emily; and 13 great grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene McCluskey (1987), and her sister, Lorraine Flannigan.

Viewing will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 13, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m.
