Donna Jean Hemingway, 82, of Sweet Home passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026. She was born March 31, 1944 to Lois J.A. (Thompson) and Edward J. Glinski, Sr. in Portland, Oregon.

She was in the Army from 1962 – 1965. Donna worked at the Roseburg Veterans Affairs as a clerk until moving back to Sweet Home in 1975. She then started working at the Sweet Home Post Office until 2005 when she retired.

Donna enjoyed riding horses and reading books.

She is survived by her sons: Troy Harkins and Edward Gibson and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband James Larry Hemingway (2023), sister Cherylle Glinski, brother Edward J. Glinski Jr. and her parents.
