Donald Lee Rowe, 87, of Sweet Home, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2026. He was born October 16, 1938 to Jessie Mae (Jackson) and Amos Leroy Rowe in Wright City, Oklahoma.

He moved to Sweet Home in 1946 and graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1957. Donald moved to Texas in 1957, worked in the oilfields and met Patsy, they married in 1958. They moved back to Oregon in 1960 Donald worked for Willamette Industries for 34 years before he retired in 1994.

He enjoyed building and doing home improvement projects. He was very creative and took pride in his craftsmanship. He loved him some pies. His biggest hobby was loving his family and talking about how proud he was of all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He lived a long and blessed life.

He is survived by his twin sons, Ronald Rowe and Donald Rowe of Sweet Home; seven grandchildren, Melissa Simmons of Sweet Home, Candice Rowe of Sweet Home, Nathan Rowe of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, Ethan Rowe of Sweet Home, Heather Anderson of Battle Mountain, Nevada, Daniel Rowe of Scio, Mary-Kate Rowe of Tulsa Oklahoma; brother Gary Rowe of Sweet Home; 26 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Patsy Mae Rowe (2016), son David Shawn Rowe (2018), grandson Matthew Douglas Rowe (2008), sisters, Joyce Earleen McKay (2018), Emma Lou Flanagan (2026), cousin and life long friend Jim Bacorn (2018).
