Donald Dee Keef, age 68, passed away Saturday, October 31, at his home.

He was born in Newcastle, Wyoming to Charles Dee and Mina Lee (Kimsey) Keef.

He met his wife, Becky, through his brother; on August 26, 1961, they were married. Donald began working for the railroad about a year later. They lived most of their lives in Citrus Heights, California where he worked 42 years for Southern Pacific Railroad, which later became Union Pacific Railroad. He retired from the railroad in 2005, and Donald and Becky moved to Sweet Home.

Donald enjoyed classic cars, especially muscle cars, and collected toy cars and other figurines. He loved listening to music and spending time with his dog, Spice.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Sue (Strain); daughter, Karrie (Keef) Walley, of Redding, California; sister, Karen Key Ellis, of Houston, Texas; three grandchildren; and two (twins) great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and his son, Ronald Dee Keef, in 1994.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 7, at Gilliland Cemetery in Sweet Home.
