Dianne Classen, 80, of Lebanon passed away Wednesday. She was born in Pine Falls, Manitoba, Canada to Fred and Ivah (Nagle) Luhde.

She came to Oregon in 1944. Her family remembers her talking about marching in the Rose Festival Parade.

Dianne played the coronet at a young age. In the 1960s, she and her husband purchased an organ and she played for church. She always had an appreciation for music even when her health no longer allowed her to play anymore. She was a member of Crowfoot Baptist Church.

She loved gardening, music, cooking, reading, and sewing. Dianne loved all kinds of animals – cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, ducks, and geese.

Dianne is survived by: her husband, John of Lebanon; daughter, Carol Biggs of Sacramento, California; son, Scott of Gates, Oregon; three grandchildren; sister, Alice France of Redmond; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her father; mother; sister, Donna; and brother, Gene.
