David Allen Potter, 75, of Sweet Home passed away Thursday. He was born in Dallas, Texas to Wallace and Betty (Gamble) Potter.

He served in the United States Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller. While in the service he lived in Michigan, Thailand. He was exposed to Agent Orange.

David has lived in Puyallup, Washington and Oregon. He worked at SeaTac International Airport as an Air Traffic Controller.

He loved playing on the computer, fishing, tying flies and going to Chewy’s. He and his wife would go help at Manna and then go eat at Reigning Glory.

David is survived by his wife Linda Potter; sons Sean Potter both of Sweet Home, Nick Potter of Oregon; two nieces that he adopted when their father was died: Traci, Terri both of Puyallup; brother Stephen of South Dakota; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
