Concepcion “Connie” Pablo Hillis, 82, of Lebanon passed away Monday, March 31, 2025. She was born on August 3, 1942, to John Herbert and Maria (Pablo) Scott in Talofofo, Guam.
She moved to Texas and attended Boles Home Christian School. In Texas, she married her high school sweetheart, Joe Hillis. Connie and Joe were both valedictorians of their high school. Together they moved to Oregon to reunite with her family.
Connie always had a great personality. She always looked for an opportunity to help others in need. Connie was a hard worker and was a supervisor at Northrup King. She was great at her job. And learned Spanish so she could communicate with her co workers. She was a very beautiful woman and always cared about how she looked and dressed. She loved to smile and laugh. Her laugh was contagious. Some of her hobbies included bowling, volleyball, camping, fishing and playing cards. She loved to go to the casino too. In her younger years she enjoyed playing tennis.
Connie is survived by her children: Stacie Hunt, Sherri Fitzgerald and Joe Roy (JR) Hillis; siblings: Mary Scott, Johnny Scott, Trammel Scott, Naomi Scott, and Frances Tyler; seven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Herbert Scott, Pete Scott, Joe Scott, and sister Ina Phillips.
