Clydie Louetta Burnette, 85, of Sweet Home passed away Monday, November 3, 2025 in McMinnville. She was born June 16, 1940 to Margie M. (Byrd) and Louis L. Scates in Madison County, Arkansas.

Louetta lived in Huntsville, Arkansas, attended school in Eagle Creek and Estacada, also lived in Sandy, Sutherlin, Portland, and Talent, Oregon for 31 years. She moved to Sweet Home in 2010.

She worked many years as a bartender and at Bear Creek Corporation (Harry and David). Louetta loved to garden and tend to her flowers.

She is survived by her children: Tina Manley of Columbus, Mississippi, Terry Pepiot of Sweet Home, Scott Pepiot of Bossier City, Louisiana, Julie Nicholson of Arlington, Washington; siblings: Kathy Ecker of McMinnville, Oregon, Louis Scates of Lake Oswego, Oregon, Donnie Scates of Huntsville, Arkansas, Harrieta Bollinger of Huntsville, Arkansas; granddaughter Bobi Babbitt of Sweet Home who lived with her for much of her childhood and teens years, ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and other extended family. She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas E. Burnette (2010), parents Louis (1992), Margie (1986), four sisters and a brother.
